TUFSHIELD ULTIMATE CLEAR WOOD FINISH

TufShield delivers a varnish-like or oil-like look but it employs more advanced polymer based chemistry. Unlike varnishes or clear 2 part systems failing within a short time because of monolithic wood protection, TufShield uses multiple weather shields laid by two 1 part coatings, #1 Base Coat and #2 Top Coat. Both are seperately programmed and fortified against the elements protecting woods with only minimum upkeep and simplicity of application.

Description: #1 Base Coat is completely clear and gives wood a perfect natural look with a beautifully accentuated grain. When applied over bare wood, it lays a new stable substrate over the wood, forming a primary protective barrier against deterioration. When applied over a conventional finish as a converting "tie-coat", it reduces risks to the existing finish by sealing vulnerable spots in the original coating and seperates it physically from the Top Coats with a powerful secondary screen. #1 Base Coat is a concentrated polymerized product and must be thinned for proper application using only the special TS Reducer. Coverage is approx. 75 sq. ft.
